A structured recap — decisions, open questions, and action items each tagged with an owner — ready to paste into your tracker.
Tuned for GranolaFirst
In Granola, set your note template to "Decisions + action items + open questions," type only fragments during the call, then hit Enhance and open the chat.
The prompt
From this meeting, produce three sections:
1. DECISIONS — every decision we actually made, one line each.
2. ACTION ITEMS — a table with columns: Task | Owner | Due date (only if
one was stated). Only include items someone explicitly committed to.
3. OPEN QUESTIONS — anything left unresolved.
Do not invent owners or due dates. If an owner wasn't named, write "unassigned".
Built-in guardrail: Refuses to invent owners or due dates; marks any un-named owner as "unassigned" and includes only explicitly committed items.
Then
Fix the two things AI gets wrong — an owner it guessed from context, and any "action item" that was really just discussion — then assign the unassigned ones yourself.
